Retail Space Planner (Proficient in AutoCAD)
We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Retail Space Planner with strong proficiency in AutoCAD to join our client's team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and optimising retail store layouts to enhance the shopping experience while ensuring efficient use of space and compliance with brand standards. This role requires a combination of design skills, spatial awareness, and technical expertise in AutoCAD to produce accurate and effective floor plans, as well as to collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Develop and create detailed store layouts and floor plans using AutoCAD.
2. Collaborate with teams to understand store requirements, including customer flow, product display areas, and customer experience.
3. Analyse retail space utilisation and recommend improvements for functionality and visual appeal.
4. Ensure designs meet company branding guidelines, safety regulations, and industry standards.
5. Prepare space planning documents, including elevations, fixture plans, and lighting plans.
6. Manage and track multiple retail space planning projects from concept to completion.
7. Review and revise store layouts based on feedback.
8. Stay updated on industry trends, new technologies, and design innovations.

Qualifications:

1. Proven experience in retail space planning or a similar role.
2. Proficiency in AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, and Microsoft Excel.
3. Strong understanding of retail operations, space optimisation, and customer experience.
4. Excellent attention to detail.
5. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams.
6. Knowledge of retail design best practices.

Can work remotely after probation; weekly office visits preferred.
