As a key member of the kitchen brigade, you will work closely with the Head Chef and Executive Chef to deliver exceptional food quality, service, and innovation. Main Responsibilities

What you'll do:

  • Be accountable for the operation, service, and production of the Retail kitchen.
  • Collaborate with the Head Chef to ensure high standards of food quality, presentation, and service are met.
  • Lead and motivate the kitchen brigade, delegating tasks, setting goals, and communicating responsibilities effectively.
  • Support the development and execution of retail concepts, ensuring the menu offering is aligned with the brand's standards.
  • Ensure all dishes are prepared and presented according to SOP documents, maintaining consistency across the kitchen.
  • Manage stock control systems and maintain weekly communication with the Stock Control Manager.
  • Assist in the recruitment and development of the kitchen team, working with the Training Manager to ensure continuous growth and a high-performing brigade.
  • Oversee the daily operations of the kitchen, ensuring cleanliness, food safety, and health and safety standards are met.
  • Control labor costs within budget and implement strategies to reduce waste using Lean Path equipment.
  • Work closely with the senior kitchen brigade to meet or exceed financial targets, ensuring the kitchen remains profitable.
