Covering Cardiff, Cheltenham, Bournemouth, and Durham

Working 3 days onsite in showrooms, one day in Exeter and 1 day from home.

Basic salary: £50,000 plus £7,000 car allowance plus £5,000 annual bonus and benefits, healthcare cash plan, discounts on shopping, travel, gym, staff discounts, pension, holidays, further training and development, and excellent career progression.

My client is seeking a highly structured, process-driven, and high energy Retail Sales Training Manager to ensure standards are met and exceeded.

As a Retail Sales Training Manager, you will have excellent coaching, training, and mentoring skills with a “hands-on” approach and a keen eye for detail and operational excellence, with the ability to hold people accountable while also supporting and developing them.

You will be enthusiastic about developing people and transforming retail spaces into high-performing showrooms that drive sales growth.

Duties
  1. You will be responsible for leading, mentoring, implementing key processes, monitoring KPIs, and setting clear objectives designed to enhance sales performance and customer experience.
  2. You will elevate showroom standards and ensure that the retail sales teams are fully trained, and processes are consistently met.
  3. The ultimate goal is to create structured, high-performing retail environments where every showroom has the tools and support needed to succeed.
  4. You will train, coach, and mentor store management and staff to excel in key sales and showroom processes.
  5. Develop and implement a structured retail practice guidebook around sales and customer processes and ensure showroom presentation, customer experience, and sales processes are executed consistently.
  6. Ensure the retail sales teams are accountable to high performance and operational excellence.
  7. Identify gaps in training, skills or processes and provide hands-on support to resolve them.
  8. Analyse showroom performance data to identify key areas for improvement.
  9. Work closely with senior management to drive sustainable sales growth.
