Job Title: Global Retail Marketing Manager (Maternity Cover)

Location: London (Hybrid working available)

Reporting To: Senior Integrated Marketing Manager

Where we need your help

The Global Retail Marketing Manager (Maternity Cover) role is an exciting opportunity to help lead and execute retail marketing strategies to drive engagement and brand presence globally across Monica Vinader Boutiques, Outlet, Concessions, and Shop-in-Shop stores. This role will focus heavily on planning and executing events and activations, which are critical to enhancing our retail presence and customer engagement. The position involves close collaboration with cross-functional teams to oversee global and local retail marketing campaigns, manage key stakeholders, and deliver seamless in-store and digital retail experiences. The chosen candidate will have a strong understanding of both strategy and execution, exceptional communication and organisational skills, and meticulous attention to detail to align regional and global objectives.

What you'll do

  1. Drive and execute a retail marketing strategy with a specific focus on impactful events and activations to drive engagement and meet KPIs.
  2. Partner with retail and brand teams to create and execute a calendar of global and local events and activations.
  3. Plan and manage activations and events end-to-end, including new store openings, promotional activations, and customer engagement initiatives, ensuring they align with brand standards and deliver measurable results.
  4. Deliver impactful activations with clear KPIs and timely reports to share performance insights and inform future strategies.
  5. Prepare bi-weekly and monthly reports on in-store services (Piercing, Welding, Engraving), offering actionable suggestions to enhance performance and drive engagement.
  6. Collaborate with creative teams to produce marketing materials, ensuring timely delivery for events, activations and business as usual (BAU) moments.
  7. Align with regional retail teams to adapt global strategies for local relevance, ensuring consistent execution across all markets.
  8. Oversee and work cross functionally with channels (Organic Social, Email, Paid Social) on our 'always-on' content strategy for retail to maintain visibility and awareness.
  9. Conduct monthly analysis of market trends and competitor activities to identify growth opportunities, sharing actionable insights with key stakeholders.
  10. Develop proposals for key commercial moments, such as Gift With Purchase (GWP) or promotional activations, to elevate customer experiences and drive KPIs.
  11. Collaborate with local retail partners (Malls/Department Stores, Landlords) in key regions (UK, US, APAC) to maximise regional marketing opportunities through activations and events.
  12. Ensure retail touchpoints across digital channels (MV website, partner sites, search engines) are up-to-date and aligned for a seamless offline and online customer experience.
  13. Manage relationships with online directory platforms (e.g., YEXT) to ensure accurate and consistent brand and store information.

Additional Requirements

Ability to document your authorisation to work in the United Kingdom. Regular travel to our Norfolk office and national Monica Vinader Boutiques may be required.
