Retail Marketing Manager Job - Northamptonshire

Do you work in retail or fashion and would like to take on a strategic marketing role for the UK & Ireland? Would you be happy working within a marketing role where your job is to keep your finger on the pulse of UK & Eire retail marketing, with the aim to support partners in maximising sales? Would the prospect of working with the likes of JLP, Next, M&S, Selfridges, Harrods, Bravissimo, N Brown Group (Simply Be and JD Williams) & Very appeal?

We have a very niche and exciting role for a gregarious strategic marketer with great customer relationship-building skills, to take a unique role growing and driving the fashion brand's sales via retail, e-tail and independents across the UK & Ireland. This is a standalone position in a team of 8 marketers.

The role is very much a strategic marketing role with strong elements of brand management and channel/retail marketing both on and offline. The focus of the role is to build relationships with the company's UK & Eire network and sales teams, to better understand the clients and competitor landscape, and utilise this knowledge to drive marketing strategy for these regions across national chains, department stores, e-tail and independents.

The role is not a position where you will be heavily involved in the creation of materials and content, but building long-term relationships with UK/Eire partners, and then using this insight and experience to drive the marketing strategy, sales materials and assets via the internal agency.

You will be overseeing brand management, product launches, budgets, merchandising, e-commerce account management (via sales agents), reporting and analysis, and all seasonal and one-off campaign planning.

Given the nature of the role, any in-house B2C/B2B2C retail/trade marketing candidates from fashion, beauty, FMCG or even consumer durables would be ideal. Though candidates from agency side will also be considered where the client industry experience is relatable.

The role is hybrid based after your 3 months' probation, with 50% of the time needed in the office, which due to its rural location would in most scenarios require you to drive.
