Retail Marketing Executive

As a Retail Marketing Executive at Sodexo, you will drive retail growth by managing the Everyday consumer app, overseeing communications, app performance, and customer feedback, while leading new app launches and feature rollouts. You will also coordinate digital content for retail screens and manage on-site marketing initiatives, working with Site Directors and Retail Leads to create and adapt marketing materials for both local and regional audiences. Additionally, you'll support customer engagement programs, including loyalty, promotions, and advocacy, and assist with retail launch marketing. Frequent on-site visits will be necessary to collaborate with local teams, align on promotions, and build strong relationships with stakeholders. We're looking for a proactive, strategic thinker with strong Marketing experience and excellent communication skills.

What you'll do

Managing Everyday consumer App:

• Communications including articles and push notifications.
• Analysing and sharing app performance.
• Managing in-app customer feedback and sharing with operational teams.
• Leading new launches of the app and the rollout plan of new features as they are activated.
• Coordinating and designing content for retail outlet digital screens.

Manage all tactical retail on-site marketing initiatives:

• Liaise with Site Directors and local Retail Leads to determine tactical marketing focus.
• Create content and production of all on-site offline marketing material.
• Adapt regionally provided brand specific retail marketing material so suitable for the H&C audience.
• Working with Head of Retail and onsite teams to deliver a customer engagement plan, to include mystery shopping, loyalty, incentives and promotions, and advocacy programmes.

Support retail launch marketing:

• Work with marketing and local sites to create content and distribute pre and post new outlet openings.
• Be the go-to person in marketing for general retail marketing content for broader brand use.
• Build relationships with NHS comms leads at hospitals.

This role requires daily engagement with Operators on site to agree retail promotions required, and broader on-site marketing. Regular peer contact with similar roles in other Sodexo segments.

This is a remote role; however, expectations are to be on site regularly to build relationships and develop a deep understanding of retail operations.

What you'll bring

Essential

• Online and Offline marketing experience, including working with creative agencies.
• Evidence of Content creation skills.
• Strong verbal communication skills internally and externally.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise.
• Self-motivated and able to work on own initiative and within a team environment.
• Ability to interpret and utilise financial and commercial information.
• Basic data analysis.

Desirable

• Food retail experience, or retail marketing experience.
• Using Apps and other martech for consumer engagement.
• Mystery Shopper/C Sat research.
• Experience of client and operator liaison.
• Matrix working and reporting.
