Job description
KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- To appoint staff, assign tasks, and monitor and review staff performance.
- To liaise with other staff to provide information about merchandise, special promotions, etc. to customers.
- To ensure that adequate reserves of merchandise are held and that stock keeping is carried out efficiently.
- To ensure customer complaints and queries regarding sales and service are appropriately handled.
- To authorize payment for supplies received and decide on vending price, discount rates, and credit terms.
- To examine the quality of merchandise and ensure that effective use is made of advertising and display facilities.
- Dealing with correspondence, complaints, and queries.
- Supervising and monitoring other staff.
- Liaising with staff, suppliers, and clients.
- Attending meetings with the Director and other staff.
- Planning work schedules, assigning tasks, and delegating responsibilities.
Skills and Experience Required:
- Leadership skills.
- Ability to work well under pressure and time constraints.
- Knowledge of different varieties of products.
- Ability to accept criticism.
- Communication skills.
Salary Offered:
Working Hours: 37.5 hours per week
Experience: Not required
Employment: Full-time
Salary: £35,000 – £40,000 yearly
