Restaurant Receptionist/Host - Experienced (30-40 hours)
Location: Fish! Borough Market. Fish! Borough Market is seeking an experienced and enthusiastic restaurant receptionist/host to join our team. Our brasserie-style restaurant seats 110 guests inside and 45 on the terrace. We welcome around 2,500 guests weekly with a casual, friendly, yet professional and efficient service style.

Qualifications:
We are looking for candidates who meet the following criteria:

1. Extensive experience in managing a busy, high-volume restaurant service.
2. Strong understanding of table turnover management.
3. High energy and the ability to excel in a fast-paced environment.
4. Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
5. Proficiency in MS Office and strong administrative skills.
6. Knowledge of the Opentable booking system.
7. Excellent communication skills and a welcoming manner.
8. Strong team player with a proactive attitude.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Manage online (Opentable), walk-in, and phone reservations.
2. Organize and oversee party reservations.
3. Perform daily administrative tasks including menu updates and reservation management using Word and Excel.
4. Welcome and seat guests, ensuring exceptional customer service.
5. Efficiently handle requests and queries in person, by phone, or via email.
6. Follow opening, closing, and daily duties procedures.
