Job description

Please apply only if you have experience as restaurant receptionist. We are looking for an enthusiastic receptionist with a genuine passion for hospitality and a desire to make every guest feel welcome. The ideal candidate will have great communication and organisational skills with the ability to maximise space, great problem-solving skills, and know how to keep cool under pressure. Experience using sevenrooms is preferable but not essential.

Responsibilities
  1. Manage all reservations, both via the general inbox and phone, in a professional and warm manner.
  2. Facilitate a positive guest experience by being an ambassador for our brand and the welcoming first point of contact for all.
  3. Manage stationery orders and storage of stock.
  4. Work with the kitchen team to finalise menus for regular service and special events.
  5. Support with booking in large groups and events.
  6. Plan and manage floor plans to support a smooth flow of service and the functioning of our front of house team.
Requirements
  1. Previous experience in a similar environment desirable but not essential.
  2. Knowledge of sevenrooms preferable.
  3. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills. We do not prioritise English native speakers, but as we are a London-based restaurant, we do expect a strong command of the language to best interact with our team and guests.
  4. Knowledge of basic computer software such as Microsoft 360 and Google Suite.
