Join Our Team: Resourcing Business at Sureserve Compliance Fire

Role Overview

Sureserve Compliance Fire have an opportunity for a driven and professional Resourcing Business Partner on a part-time basis circa 3/4 days per week, but we are open to the exact weekly working hours. The Resourcing Business Partner will be based from our Horsham, West Sussex Office. The Resourcing Business Partner will be the resourcing subject matter expert, partnering with the Hiring Community to ensure we provide a robust, effective and quality hiring processes for a wide variety of roles, including front line operational, engineering and corporate functions vacancies.

Responsibilities

  1. In collaboration with the business, understand all current and future requirements, enabling proactive delivery of pre-qualified shortlists.
  2. Manage the end-to-end recruitment life cycle, including vacancy briefing, advertising and search, screening, booking interviews, arranging assessments (attending when required) and supporting the offer and on-boarding process, within a timely manner, to reduce time to hire.
  3. Sourcing candidates using direct search including Indeed, Total Jobs, LinkedIn, social media, and other sourcing methods, to reduce dependence on agency hiring.
  4. Effective screening and proactive management of talent pipeline pool, to increase retention.
  5. Ensure all recruitment practices are understood, and processes are in line with policy, supporting and upskilling hiring managers as required.

Essential Job Skills, Experience and Qualifications

  1. Previous agency or in-house recruitment experience, including blue collar and office-based hiring.
  2. A passion for direct sourcing and able to headhunt effectively by networking and using databases and social media. The ability to innovate and think ‘out of the box’ to overcome obstacles is essential.
  3. Proven track record of successfully delivering high volume recruitment campaigns.
  4. Proficient in writing engaging job adverts.
  5. Excellent interpersonal and communications skills, with the ability to promote and enhance employment brand and build effective internal and external partnerships.

Desirable

  1. Previous experience recruiting within Fire Protection, or Field Engineering Services.
  2. Strong commercial acumen along with financial awareness of managing a budget.
