Job Title: Resources Operative
Location: Camberley, Surrey

The role
As a Resources Operative, you'll have a role that's out of the ordinary. The candidate will play a vital part in managing equipment and resources.

Day-to-day, you'll have the following responsibilities:

  • Support the delivery of Combat Engineering Support services to the applicable training courses; including transporting, erecting, and dismantling of equipment; sentry duties; watermanship safety.
  • Support the delivery of Resource Management services such as Snow and Ice Clearance (SNIC), storage areas, damage control and porterage as directed by Line Management.
  • Deal with day-to-day customer queries in a professional, positive and enthusiastic manner.
  • Carry out level 1 & 2 and other technical maintenance in accordance with Army Equipment Support Publications (AESPs).
  • Support department requirements for audits and inspections including preparation of equipment and remedial actions.

Please note that the successful candidate will be required to pass a targeted medical questionnaire and/or medical examination as a condition of employment for this role.

This role is full time and based onsite at Minley.

Essential experience of the Resources Operative:

  • Ability to swim.
  • Experience of manual handling.
  • Flexible and adaptable; able to work in ambiguous situations and work under pressure.
  • Problem solving and root cause identification skills.
  • Innovative with a continuous improvement and change focus.
  • Able to read and understand detailed instructions.
  • Able to work well both independently and as part of a team.

Qualifications for the Resources Operative:

  • Driving licence suitable for use within the UK.

Security Clearance
The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Standard (BPSS) security clearance for this role.
