We are advertising one fixed-term RTLit position available starting at the beginning of term two until Thursday 18th December 2025.

The role is a fixed-term position to cover a leave position. The RTLit service provides specialised support to students in Y1 to 8 who are experiencing difficulties with literacy learning.

We are seeking a qualified RTLit or a highly skilled and experienced kaiako to join our dynamic team of six in Christchurch. The ideal candidate must be prepared to travel across the wider Christchurch region, have reliable transport, and thrive in a collaborative team environment. We are seeking a kaiako with a strength in the field of literacy, including structured literacy. Strength in te reo Māori is also a valuable asset.

The successful applicant will have proven experience in supporting teachers, diverse learners, and their whānau. A passion for leading adult learning and the ability to collaborate with other professionals through Learning Support networks are key.
