Resource Coordinator

Location: Chesterfield

Salary: £25,000 - £30,000 per annum

Due to business growth and continued success, a specialist rail business with knowledge and experience gained over many years of multi-disciplined strategy and delivery is looking to hire a Resource Coordinator to join their team in Chesterfield.

Full training can be provided, and they are open to applications from candidates with a strong administration background working in construction or rail.

The Role:

As a Resource Coordinator, you will be responsible for:

1. Managing and scheduling workforce resources efficiently across multiple rail projects
2. Coordinating with project managers, clients, and suppliers to ensure optimal workforce deployment
3. Handling last-minute changes, shift allocations, and ensuring compliance with industry regulations
4. Maintaining accurate records of staff availability, certifications, and competencies
5. Assisting with onboarding, inductions, and ensuring workers meet compliance requirements

What We're Looking For:

1. Previous experience in a resource coordination, rostering, or workforce planning role (ideally within rail or construction) desirable
2. Strong organisational and problem-solving skills
3. Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing priorities
4. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
5. Knowledge of rail industry standards and compliance requirements (PTS, Sentinel, etc.) is an advantage
