Residential Property Paralegal

Sophia at Avocet Legal Careers has an exceptional opportunity for an experienced Property Paralegal to join a highly reputable, local law firm based in Exeter.

We are currently recruiting an experienced Paralegal or experienced Legal Assistant with specific experience gained within either residential property or commercial property. This is a fantastic opportunity to join an independent, niche law firm working directly with one of the Partners dealing with residential property matters.

Residential Property Paralegal Responsibilities:

1. You will support the fee earners with their caseloads.
2. You will obtain and review title documents, submit searches and report on search results, deal with Companies House registrations, Land Registry applications etc.
3. You will draft legal documentation.
4. You will liaise with clients and third parties via telephone, email and letters.
5. You will undertake office administration duties, including photocopying, scanning and filing etc.

Residential Property Paralegal Requirements:

1. You will be an experienced Residential Property or Commercial Property Paralegal or Legal Assistant with at least 2 years' experience.
2. You will primarily be able to work independently with some support as needed.
3. You will have the ability to work to deadlines and able to prioritise your workload.
4. You will be able to work as part of a team and happy to provide support where needed.
