Residential Property Manager – London – Up to £55,000 Per Annum

Are you an experienced and dynamic residential property manager with a passion for residential real estate? We are recruiting on behalf of a leading property company who are looking to grow their residential Property Management team in London. This is a fantastic opportunity to manage a diverse portfolio of residential properties in London & surrounding areas.

Job Role:

  1. Responsible for designated properties and tasks across our residential portfolio as reasonably requested and undertaking all the tasks proactively and diligently.
  2. Your role will include managing residential agents, overseeing the co-ordination/review of property reports, maintaining accurate records, liaising professionally with all occupiers, consultants, and overseeing the management of rents/arrears, rates, insurance, service charges, landlord works/costs, and supporting on all L&T matters.
  3. Co-ordinating/preparing management reports, maintaining tenancy schedules, and other reporting requirements.
  4. Managing residential agents.
  5. Dealing with AST renewals and assignment of apartments.
  6. Overseeing the payment of utilities and rates and other non-recoverable costs.
  7. Assisting as required with service charge budgets approvals and reconciliations.
  8. Overseeing preparation and works associated with the property management functions.
  9. Ensuring compliance with company policies and best practices.

Skills & Experience:

  1. Excellent organisational, written, and verbal communication skills.
  2. Able to self-manage and prioritise own workload, but ready to ask colleagues for advice or support tackling new or different areas.
  3. Flexibility - able to deal with different levels of workloads.
  4. Good IT skills – Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
  5. Numerate with business acumen.
  6. Previous experience in residential block and AST property management is essential.
  7. Previous experience in managing mixed-use developments.
  8. Experience interpreting leases would be an advantage.
  9. Experience in dealing with service charges.
  10. Understanding of rating and utilities and dealing with suppliers.
