Job description
One of Devon's modern and supportive law firms is looking for a Residential Property Lawyer to join their conveyancing department, working within a successful, reputable, busy and supportive team, in either Newton Abbot or Teignmouth. They are keen to find someone with some experience already behind them, although the Partners are keen to help develop someone further if needed. This person could also act as a more senior member of the team to some of the more junior staff. This is a great opportunity for someone to take on that responsibility, while still having the support of some of the very top conveyancers in the Southwest. This team continues to expand and grow their reputation, but are already seen as one of the major players in the Southwest for residential property work, with an enviable reputation.
The role will involve:
- Acting for clients on a broad range of residential property matters
- Primarily freehold and leasehold sales and purchases (including for investor clients)
- Transfers of equity and remortgages
- Supervising junior members of the team and assisting in practice development.
Experience and skills sought:
- Previous Residential Property experience
- Excellent communication skills
- An enthusiastic approach to client care
Hours and Benefits:
- Monday to Friday = 08:45 - 17:00
