Purosearch are looking for a Home Manager who is caring and possesses a strong history in care home management, compliance, and good business acumen.

I am looking for an outstanding and motivated individual to manage a medium purpose-built residential care home situated in Doncaster. The home provides residential care for older people who are frail, elderly, and may suffer from dementia; the home is easily commutable from surrounding areas.

As the successful applicant, you will be joining a very well-established care home that is operated by a fantastic provider that is looking at expansion over the coming year. The home has an experienced and committed staff team who you will be supported by, as well as a fantastic senior management support structure that will help you strive to achieve the best possible outcomes for the service and its residents. You will have a proven track record of successful home management and excellent knowledge of CQC and current legislation.

Key Responsibilities of the Home Manager:

1. Overall responsibility of the home
2. Staff management - maintaining the team/appraisals/training
3. Care plans/reviews/meetings
4. Build and maintain rapport with staff/residents/their families & all external bodies
5. Undertake assessments of other staff and review care packages
6. Be a role model for staff and service users

Skills/Qualifications of the Nursing Home Manager:

1. Proven track record of successful home management
2. Sound knowledge of CQC and Care Standards
3. Dynamic & Enthusiastic
4. Ability to lead, motivate, and develop staff
