  • You must have a degree (e.g. BA, BSc)
  • Experience teaching or working with Young Learners
  • You must have the right to work in the UK
  • You must have full mastery of English (C2 level) across all four skills.
Job Description

Are you a dynamic and focused EFL teacher who would like to join our teaching team this summer? Then this could be the job for you:

Teaching Juniors (ages 8-11 and 12-15) at Bromsgrove International Summer School, near Birmingham, you will teach 27 hours per week, plus non-teaching admin/materials writing duties for full time contracts (any part time contracts will be 15 hours per week). Teachers use IH Bristol's original in-house weekly materials booklets (topic-based, with teacher's notes, written by our core team of teachers, updated annually) - with 'Kids' versions and 'Teens' versions. Full board and lodging provided, but there are no residential duties (all these are taken care of by the on-site Bromsgrove team; IH Bristol provides the Academic Teaching Team plus our live-in IH Bristol Academic Manager). This means evenings and weekends are free for all teachers!

CONTRACTS FROM 30th JUNE, 4.5 WEEK CONTRACTS AVAILABLE, LATEST FINISH 29th JULY 2025.

Applicants should have one of the following qualifications: Cambridge CELTA, Trinity CertTESOL, Cambridge CELTYL, Cambridge DELTA, Trinity DipTESOL, or equivalent, plus additional Young Learners courses / qualifications will be looked on favourably!

Other Benefits

Accommodation : Bromsgrove contracts come with full board and lodging provided, but unusually for an EFL residential contract, have no evening or weekend work commitments apart from making sure your lessons are planned (i.e. it is a teaching-only contract!)
