Residential Conveyancing Fee-Earner
Location: North Yorkshire
Job Type: Full-time

A well-established law firm in North Yorkshire is looking for an experienced Residential Fee-Earner to join their busy and supportive team. This is an excellent opportunity for a legal professional with a strong background in residential conveyancing who can confidently manage a caseload with minimal supervision.

The Role

The successful candidate will handle a diverse range of residential property transactions, ensuring a smooth process from instruction to completion. Key responsibilities include:
  1. Managing sales, purchases, transfers, and re-mortgages.
  2. Conducting title investigations and preparing legal documentation.
  3. Providing expert legal advice to clients on all aspects of residential conveyancing.
  4. Liaising with clients, estate agents, mortgage lenders, and other parties.
  5. Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.

Requirements

  1. Qualified Solicitor, Legal Executive, or Licensed Conveyancer (other experienced candidates will be considered).
  2. Strong technical knowledge of residential property law and conveyancing procedures.
  3. Excellent communication and client care skills.
  4. Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment.
  5. Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
  6. Proficiency in using conveyancing software and IT systems.
