Job description

A fantastic opportunity exists for a Residential Conveyancer / Solicitor to join a progressive law firm with an excellent reputation based in the Derby area.


To be considered for the role, you'll require the following essentials:

  1. Current or recent experience within a Conveyancing role
  2. Confident with handling your own caseload of conveyancing transactions
  3. Solid understanding of sales, purchases, re-mortgages and transfers of equity
  4. Confidence to support other team members
  5. A natural desire to drive the department to the next level
  6. Excellent IT Skills to use Case Management Systems

Within this position, you'll also be:

  1. Proactively managing and dealing with a caseload of varied conveyancing files
  2. Providing support to the wider team, offering supervision and guidance
  3. Using Case Management Systems and online search tools
  4. Assisting in the development of the business development strategy for the department
  5. Ensuring compliance with the firms policies and procedures

Salary & Working Hours

Salary is £30,000 - £55,000 depending on experience

Working hours are 35 hours per week, Monday - Friday
