The Firm

Are you ready to take your career to the next level with one of the most respected firms in the East Midlands? My client is a top-tier, Legal 500 national law firm with an ever-expanding presence across the region. With a strong reputation and a clear vision for growth, they continue to make a significant impact in the legal world. Driven by a passion for empowering clients, they offer expert advice and support to navigate complex legal issues. Their values are built on delivering excellence, fostering collaboration, and constantly striving to improve.

The Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join a highly experienced Residential Conveyancing team within a firm that offers the ideal balance of responsibility, support, and career development. As a Senior Associate Conveyancer, you will take ownership of a range of residential conveyancing matters, including sales and purchases, leasehold and freehold transactions, new builds, re-mortgages, and shared ownership deals—just to name a few.

You'll manage your own caseload from start to finish, meaning no two days will ever be the same! Your day-to-day tasks will include:

  1. Managing residential conveyancing transactions, from inception to completion, ensuring smooth and efficient processes.
  2. Handling all aspects of property law, including financing transactions, title reports, and preparing contracts and supplemental documents.
  3. Communicating effectively with clients and other stakeholders to maintain strong relationships and ensure the timely completion of all matters.
  4. Supporting the department’s growth by contributing to the development of the client base and promoting the firm’s services.
  5. Keeping your legal knowledge up to date and continuously developing your professional skills to stay at the top of your game.

This role offers the perfect blend of challenge and opportunity in a supportive, collaborative environment.

What are we looking for in a candidate? Ideally, you'll have at least 5 years of experience in residential conveyancing and a proven ability to handle a diverse range of transactions. You should be highly motivated, with a proactive approach to managing your caseload and building relationships with clients. Strong communication skills and a team-oriented mindset are essential. Comfort with document management systems and time recording tools will ensure you stay aligned with the firm’s standards.

Most importantly, we’re looking for someone with a positive, can-do attitude who’s ready to take their career to the next level!

Benefits

What’s in it for you? Along with the chance to work at a dynamic, growing firm, you’ll enjoy a competitive salary and excellent benefits, including:

  1. 25 days of annual leave (plus bank holidays), with the option to purchase additional holiday.
  2. A birthday off or a well-being day to celebrate YOU!
  3. A healthcare cash plan to help with everyday medical costs.
  4. A 4% pension scheme, life assurance, and income protection.
  5. Discounts on selected legal services.
  6. Access to a flexible benefits portal with options tailored to your needs.
  7. Hybrid working to help maintain a great work-life balance.

In addition, you'll have access to ongoing training and professional development to continue growing within the firm.
