Job Title:

Residential Childcare Practitioner - Children's Home

Where you will be based:

Walkden, Greater Manchester

Provision:

Children's Home

The Service Users:

Children aged 7 to 17 with Social, Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (SEBD)

Working Week and Pay:
  • £13.50 per hour on either 36 hours or 48 hours contract with Approx 6 to 8 sleeps per month paid at £52 per sleep. Total Taken Per Year Up to £38,688
Desirables:
  • Qualifications: It is desirable that you hold Level 3 NVQ in Residential Childcare, or Level 3 Diplomas in Social or Children Care or Health and Social Care.
  • Experience: Desirable to have experience working in a similar setting, such as working with children with challenging behaviour or complex needs (not including care assistant for the elderly).
  • Driving Licence: Full driving license is desirable.
Essentials:
  • Fluent in English: Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Min Age: 22
