Overview: Residential Childcare Assessor

An opportunity to join an innovative and rapidly growing training provider. We are looking for an experienced Residential Childcare professional to join their successful team.

You will be delivering Residential Childcare apprenticeships to learners, mainly working remotely from home.

The successful candidate will need to have at least 2 years' occupational experience in a Residential Childcare setting and a L3 Residential Childcare qualification.

Duties: Residential Childcare Assessor

1. Train, assess, motivate and support Residential Childcare learners on programmes towards achieving Residential Childcare Apprenticeship qualifications.
2. Maximise the use of e-learning and use a variety of assessment methods to ensure learners have the chance to evidence their knowledge in various ways.
3. Support, develop, implement and evaluate approved Residential Childcare training materials, promoting standardisation, using approved training methods to develop the learner and utilising every opportunity to support them in achieving their qualification in a timely manner.
4. Ensure the highest standards of learner completions are met and monitor candidates' progress, including carrying out regular progression reviews/additional support reviews.

Qualifications and Competencies: Residential Childcare Assessor

1. A minimum of 2 years' occupational experience within a Residential Childcare setting.
2. A L3 or above qualification in Residential Childcare.
3. Experience delivering Residential Childcare apprenticeships.
4. Assessor Award (TAQA, CAVA, A1, D32/33).
5. Excellent communication skills.
6. Ability to work autonomously and manage own diary.
7. Full UK Driving License.

Salary/Benefits: Residential Childcare Assessor

1. Salary: £28k.
