Job description

Resident Engineer - Electrical - Kingsway, Derby. Salary: £36k to £38k.

Overview: Resident Electrical Engineer needed for a mental health site in Derby. The role is static, so there is no vehicle provided; however, a small amount of travel is required between sites, for which fuel is reimbursed. Candidates must be able to drive and have a vehicle.

Responsibilities:

  1. Perform maintenance work with a small amount of installation work.
  2. Carry out tasks beyond electrical work with a flexible attitude.

Qualifications:

  1. 18th Edition wiring regulation qualification.
  2. Ideally, C&G 2391 inspection and testing.
  3. Hospital experience is preferred but not essential.

Hours of Work: Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm, with a 30-minute lunch break.

Holidays: 32 days (including 8 Bank Holidays).

Pension: Workplace Pension.

Overtime: Paid at time and a half at all times.

Call Out: 1 week in 4, £100 call out retainer, minimum 3 hours paid at time and a half if called out.
