A great opportunity has arisen and we are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and highly motivated nurse to become part of our friendly, dynamic, award-winning Research Team at Chesterfield Royal Hospital to support the delivery of NIHR adopted research studies.
Work with the research team to engage with the setup of new studies, recruit participants to the research studies, maintain follow-up visits, be responsible for entering data onto trial databases, raise the profile of research within the trust, and record and maintain accurate documentation relating to trial participants.

The post holder will be expected to develop specialized skills and knowledge relating to the conduct of clinical trials, the therapies, and the relevant disease site. The post holder will be expected to have sufficient skills to enable patients to make informed choices concerning their involvement in clinical trials by providing advice and information and acting as the patient’s advocate.
