The University is looking to create a step-change in its research performance through growing its market share of strategic international research grants. An exciting opportunity has therefore arisen for a strategic, creative, and research target-driven Research Development Manager (International/EU) to join the RIS Research Development Team. This new post will be key to help us deliver our ambitions to support the transformation of our international research capacity and build our research excellence as well as grow our research income including that from international funders and in particular the EU.
The postholder will be responsible for providing research development support aimed at assisting our researchers in securing high-level external international/EU research and related funding including exploring NIH and international Foundations and industry funding. They will be a dynamic professional, influencer, and collaborator, able to build effective relationships in the international and EU arena.
