You will have an accounting background and be able to work under pressure, functioning independently and as part of a research team. You will need the capacity to manage competing demands and the ability to build and maintain working relationships with a variety of different staff. Accounting experience and MS Office skills, particularly in preparing reports in Word and using Excel for data with different formulae, are essential, along with some level of experience working in Clinical Research related areas.
Our focus is to provide the highest standards of care to patients and families, and the research we conduct has these same aims. This position will suit a motivated, efficient, and enthusiastic individual, providing an exciting opportunity to have a positive impact on patient care through ground-breaking research.

The R&D IBD Assistant Management Accountant will hold regular reviews with the Operations Lead IBD Research Services to support intelligence gathering and resolving queries. This will include the provision of information, analysis, and support in interpreting their reports and collating information to assist in the development of robust reporting.
The key skills required are those for interpreting, processing, and analysing data using Microsoft Office, interrogating various regulatory clinical trial documents for preparation of trial costings, and informing trial patient activity records and invoice generation, all of which requires a proven working knowledge of the accounting principles involved and analysis and interpretation of clinical trial documentation.
