Job description

Are you an Anthropologist or Qualitative Researcher, keen to work on more global cultural insight projects? We are working with a global insights and design strategy consultancy who are growing their London office.

Requirements:

  • Graduate with background in Human Sciences
  • Or 1-3 years experience in Cultural Insights
  • Flexible, hybrid working, London based office
  • Competitive salary depending on experience
  • Cultural Insights, Qualitative Research, Innovation, Futuring

We have worked with them for a number of years, seeing them grow from a traditional qualitative research agency into a strategy consultancy who specialise in human-centred insights. There are still elements of qualitative research (workshops, ethnography, fieldwork). Due to the nature of the projects that they are consistently winning, they are looking to hire people with experience across cultural insights, semiotics, innovation, trends and futures or design thinking to contribute further to their offering.

They have quickly grown their reputation to be one of the best in the UK at cultural strategy for global projects as well as consultancy services such as service design and branding for some huge clients. They also do some extraordinarily interesting work that not many other companies do.

As an agency, they create design solutions for products by reassessing cultural traditions, concepts and human behaviour patterns. Client list spans both for-profit and non-profit so has a nice mix of commercial and social impact work. Projects include predicting what the beauty industry is going to look like in 2030 through to consultancy pieces on how to lower carbon emissions through behaviour change. These can be seven figure projects with enormous amounts of depth to them requiring strong exploratory research and people who can think outside the box to really get to the crux of the issues.

It’s a chance to join a small but quickly growing London office, who are part of a larger, well established global organisation. You will be trained in aspects of research, design strategy, innovation and other frameworks.

Please apply for next steps. We encourage applications from individuals of all backgrounds and actively seek to embrace diversity across age, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability, race, religion, and sex.

For successful applicants, a recruitment consultant will be in touch via email to schedule a briefing call. We will explain the role in more detail and share the company details before creating a formal application.

Note: Due to the high volume of applications we receive, only shortlisted candidates will be contacted.
