About Us
Applications are invited for an enthusiastic Research Technician/Assistant to work within the MRC Centre for Neurodevelopmental Disorders, developing the human post-mortem and surgical resections tissue resource. As a member of the Centre, the post-holder will be working in close collaboration with a multidisciplinary team of researchers in Guy’s campus.
About The Role
The candidate will provide logistical, technical, and organisational support for the generation and maintenance of human clinical samples that adhere to both Guys and St Thomas (GSTT) NHS Trust governance and Human Tissue Act (HTA) guidelines. They will be responsible for both the scientific support of the tissue resource and the coordination of sample collection, data management, and tissue processing and storage. The post-holder would also be expected to have an active role in existing research studies and in the development of new research. They will be highly motivated, approachable, and able to proactively liaise with a variety of professional figures within the MRC Centre for Neurodevelopmental Disorders.
This is a full-time role, and you will be offered a fixed-term contract until 31/10/26.

Grade and Salary: £38,232 - £42,999 per annum, including London Weighting Allowance
