We are looking for a flexible and organised research assistant to work on the CADRE project of the Children and Young People’s Mental Health workstream of the Mental Health Mission. The Mental Health Mission allows researchers to test and trial cutting-edge interventions for patients with mental health conditions. The role involves working alongside clinical and academic researchers within the University of Manchester, the University of Cambridge, other universities, and the NHS, as well as collaborating with various external stakeholders.
The Child and Young People (CYP) Theme within the Mental Health Mission is hosted at the University of Manchester. Its overall goal is to advance CYP mental health practice and research through advances in infrastructure, assessments, and therapies towards a national capacity for clinical ‘platform’ trials. CADRE (Children and Adolescents Data Resource) is the methodology that will facilitate this. It is a network of local databases linked together, designed purely for children’s health research, innovation, and service improvement. CADRE Manchester is led by Prof Jonathan Green and Dr Roshelle Ramkisson. This post will be the Researcher within CADRE Manchester.
Main duties include building relationships, effectively establishing project implementation, promoting project engagement, and leading local patient & public involvement & engagement work. The successful candidate will also work on other projects within Prof Jonathan Green’s research group.
