About the role

Do you want to play a role in increasing trust and confidence and making sure that all Londoners feel that the police treat them fairly, provide a professional service and deal with the local crime and antisocial behaviour issues that matter to them?

The Mayor’s Office for Policing and Crime (MOPAC) is the organisation through which the Mayor of London exercises his role as the Police and Crime Commissioner for London and is led by the Deputy Mayor for Policing and Crime. MOPAC undertakes a broad range of statutory duties and works closely with the Mayor of London, Deputy Mayor and Metropolitan Police Service (MPS) to deliver the priorities that will create safer London communities.

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the MOPAC Evidence & Insight team, the dedicated in-house analysis and social research team comprising experienced analysts and researchers. We are seeking to appoint a fixed-term Research Analyst within the Public Voice and Engagement Team. The role holder will help design, implement, and analyse the results of surveys. Good project management and communication skills are required; role holders will be expected to engage with police officers within the Metropolitan Police Service (MPS) and promote the use of public surveys results to increase trust and confidence in London.

This position is for 24-months.

If you're ready to take the next step in your career and join a team that's making a real difference improving the lives of Londoners, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity.
