The Europe long-term power team is a talented, collaborative group of analysts producing market-leading research in rapidly evolving markets. We work closely with our colleagues across Wood Mackenzie’s wider power and renewables research practice, supporting our market views with high-quality analysis of the value chains of solar PV, onshore and offshore wind, and energy storage. The insight we provide our clients is strengthened by the integration of our analysis with the wider work of our commodities and energy transition groups, including fuels and carbon markets, and the analysis of emerging technologies, such as hydrogen and carbon capture and storage.
Role Purpose
We are looking for a Research Analyst to join our European power markets team. The analyst will be supporting market research and modelling, policy analysis, power price and revenue forecasting across Europe.
You will be part of a team that is responsible for delivering high-quality European power market research and insight. The team deploys simulation and computational models and data analytics to forecast the evolution of power supply, impacts of policy and market structure, and the changing characteristics, costs, and revenues of assets. You’ll work closely with team colleagues and more widely with subject matter experts from across Wood Mackenzie, providing an excellent opportunity to expand and deepen your understanding of market dynamics in the region. Your work will contribute to the growth, quality, and commercial success of our research.
