Reporting And Planning Accountant

Pure are delighted to be assisting with the recruitment of a Reporting and Planning Accountant to join a busy finance department. Hybrid working and study support available. This is the perfect role for someone actively studying towards their ACCA or CIMA.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Support production of financial reporting.
2. Complete period-end close process including preparation of journals, accruals, and pre-payments.
3. Assist with annual budget, forecast and strategic planning process.
4. Support with standard reporting into a BI environment.
5. Support other areas of the business to remove standard reporting burdens.
6. Support the Finance Manager in acting as a business partner to wider company.
7. Ensure the accuracy of financial and non-financial data and reports.
8. Own the first cut of project justifications for capital expenditure projects for an area of the business.
9. Support ad-hoc projects, analysis and insight as required.

The role will interface across the Group, supporting first line business partnering for the key outputs of the finance function. It will be essential to balance customer service with efficiency. You will be a hardworking, analytical, and self-starting individual who can work independently while fostering strong working relationships.
