Title: Repairs Supervisor

Location: Croydon

Salary: up to £40k plus package

Build Recruitment are currently looking for a Repairs Supervisor to work for a leading main contractor based in the Croydon area.

The role will be specialising in repairs, so experience as a Supervisor, Repairs Supervisor, Disrepair Supervisor, Voids Supervisor or Responsive Supervisor is required.

Relevant experience in Social Housing, Councils, Housing associations, Local Authorities or Properties is required.

Responsibilities:

1. To motivate, coach and retain tradespeople
2. Devise a method for accurately assessing and categorising the competency profile of all team members
3. Health & Safety Performance of contractors
4. Selection and recruitment of Tradespeople
5. Performance management of Tradespeople
6. Excellent communication skills
7. Excellent leadership skills

You need:

1. Good understanding of building maintenance in the social housing sector
2. Experience of supervising teams
3. Experience of mobile device use
4. MUST HAVE - SSSTS & a Trade qualification - Plastering, Plumbing, Carpentry, Bricklaying, Groundworks, Roofing etc
