REMOTE Senior In-house FS/Mortgage Lawyer - 12 month FTC

Pay: £ basic + bonus + benefits

Hays Legal is instructed with this exceptional in-house mortgage lawyer/FS role, a 12-month FTC opportunity as a result of key projects, for an experienced lawyer to take a pivotal role in this highly regarded household name organisation. You will be responsible for providing expert & strategic legal advice, with a particular focus on advising upon mortgages & mortgage propositions, alongside FS law and regulation.

With other lawyers in the team, you will be involved in:

1. Drafting and reviewing, maintaining and advising upon product-related T&Cs and other customer documentation and material for the organisation, regularly reviewing to ensure compliance.
2. Advising on strategic change projects and new mortgage propositions as well as product digitisation.
3. Advising on transactional product queries, financial promotions, etc.

This is a fabulous opportunity for a 5 PQE+ to senior FS lawyer looking to experience life as an in-house lawyer, or an existing in-house lawyer happy to take an FTC. You must have a strong FS background at a recognised commercial law firm or highly regarded in-house team.

You will have excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with senior level stakeholders throughout the organisation, the ability to think logically, work to deadlines and be flexible in your approach. Only those qualified in England & Wales will be considered. Part-time or full-time.
