As a Remote Mortgage Underwriter, you will:

• Underwrite both residential and BTL mortgage applications.
• Make informed lending decisions in line with Credit Risk Policy.
• Consider broader customer outcomes beyond individual application components.
• Manage new applications and pre-submission referrals efficiently.
• Proactively handle an assigned pipeline from receipt to completion.
• Liaise with a pre-approved panel of Introducers for quick and accurate decisions.
• Adhere to internal underwriting and regulatory policies.

The ideal Remote Mortgage Underwriter will have:

• Previous experience in underwriting, credit, or lending.
• Experience working within a regulated environment.
• Ability to manage and prioritise own workload.
• Experience liaising with Introducers and/or external customers.
• CeMAP qualification is desirable but not essential.
