Are you a Band 5/6 ACT Pharmacy Technician looking for a rewarding locum role in Devon? We have an exciting opportunity with great pay and flexibility!

Job Details

- Job Title: Band 5/6 ACT Pharmacy Technician
- Location: Devon
- Duration: 3-6 month contract
- Schedule: Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm (37.5hrs per week!)
- Start Date: ASAP
- Rate of Pay: £18 - £25 per hour

What You'll Be Doing

Join our team as a Band 5/6 ACT Pharmacy Technician and play a key role in improving the lives of NHS patients. In this role, you will:

  1. Perform final accuracy checks on prescriptions and medication orders
  2. Support the pharmacy team with dispensing and stock management
  3. Provide advice on medication use to healthcare professionals and patients
  4. Work within NHS hospital settings to deliver high-quality pharmacy services
  5. Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and best practices
Requirements & Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  1. A current and valid GPhC registration as a Pharmacy Technician
  2. Accredited Checking Technician (ACT) qualification
  3. Experience in hospital or community pharmacy (NHS training provided if needed)
  4. Strong communication and organisational skills
  5. The ability to work independently and as part of a team
Working Hours & Contract Duration

This role offers a flexible working position for 3-6 months, with the possibility of extension. NHS accommodation is available for £10 per night-an excellent opportunity for relocation!
