HAYS Education are looking for Religious Studies Teachers to work in schools across West Sussex and surrounding areas. Based in Sussex for over 20 years, HAYS education offers high-quality supply teaching service, helping Schools with day to day cover as well as more long-term & permanent vacancies.

Your new role:

In this role you need to be a strong resilient teacher, working within a welcoming and supportive environment that helps students and teachers grow and achieve the best from life. Helping every student find their dream, whilst also giving them the tools and confidence to achieve them. Working on supply as a RS teacher is an excellent way of getting your foot in the school door, for you to get to know a school and for a school to get to know you. You will benefit from working in a range of primary, secondary, and SEN schools which can be another pathway to regular, long term, or possibly permanent work.

What you'll need to succeed:

1. You must be willing to go through our standard vetting checks as well as an enhanced DBS.
2. Have recent experience and be able to provide references.
3. Have Qualified Teacher Status or be a Newly Qualified Teacher or Early Career Teacher.
4. Confident in delivering a topic/subject to a group.
5. Ability to relate well to children and adults.
6. Be enthusiastic when delivering lessons to children.
7. Good communication, team working, and organisational skills.
8. Knowledge of health & safety.
9. Able to take instructions and willing to learn.
10. Computer literacy.
