Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging and thought-provoking Religious Education lessons to KS3 and KS4 students.
• Foster critical thinking and respectful discussions on religious, ethical, and philosophical topics.
• Plan and assess lessons in line with the national curriculum to ensure student progress.
• Create an inclusive and supportive classroom environment where all students feel valued.
• Collaborate with colleagues to enhance cross-curricular learning and student engagement.

Requirements of RE Teacher:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• Experience teaching RE at the secondary level (KS3 & KS4).
• A passion for Religious Studies and the ability to inspire students of all backgrounds.
• Strong classroom management skills and a commitment to student development.
• Ability to adapt teaching strategies to meet diverse learning needs.
• Have an updated CV (covering the last ten years, barring any unexplained gaps) and an enhanced DBS registered to the update service (or be willing to apply for one).
