Job description

The Relief Receptionist will provide a first-class customer service to all visitors to the care home and maintain high levels of visitor/employee/resident satisfaction. The post supports the reception and administration team with all relevant and necessary administration for the care home.

This post is for a Relief/Bank Receptionist working on an as and when required basis to cover absence.

What you will be doing:
  1. Answering all telephone enquiries in a professional, helpful, and timely manner to agreed standards.
  2. Ensuring all visitors to the Unit are given appropriate information in a courteous and timely fashion to agreed standards.
  3. Monitoring the CCTV operations on the site to ensure security is maintained.
  4. Ensuring the reception area is welcoming, tidy and always contains appropriate visitor information to agreed standards.
  5. Inputting data onto the Unit’s computer system to set timescales and accuracy.
  6. Supporting the Manager and Administrator in undertaking specific administrative and clerical tasks as and when required.
What you will need:
  1. Experience working in professional administration departments or in a similar role.
  2. Business Management/Administration or similar qualifications.
  3. Excellent interpersonal skills.
  4. Ability to maintain confidentiality, both with company information and staff information.
  5. Strong Microsoft Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word knowledge.
  6. Self-motivated and with a desire to improve systems within the business.
  7. Be a Team player.
  8. Ability to work under pressure and do multiple tasks.
  9. Commercial awareness and can do attitude.
  10. Can do attitude.
