Relief Healthcare Support Workers

The suitable candidate will be working for us on behalf of one of the UK's biggest social care organizations that support adults with learning difficulties.

What is the Position?

You will be a member of the Support Team reporting to the Person in Charge for the home, supported by an experienced Senior Management.

Requirements for this role include:

• Minimum Requirement of NVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care or Care certificate.
• One year’s experience of working with adults with physical & intellectual disabilities.
• Up-to-date Medicines Administration training.
• Ability to work as part of a Team or Independently.
• Up-to-date Safety Intervention training.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide personal care and assistance to clients, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
• Administer medication according to prescribed schedules.
• Assist with mobility and transfers, including heavy lifting when necessary.
• Monitor and report changes in clients' health or behavior.
• Implement behavior management techniques as needed.
• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients.
• Follow care plans and instructions provided by healthcare professionals.
• Maintain accurate documentation of care provided.
