We are looking for a a shining star to join our team in a role that is heavily geared towards training for the future Operations Manager.

As a Relief Chef you would use your experience to support a wide array of business including care homes and education sites while always developing your skills through residential, on line and meeting day training. Being part of an award winning team which offers support and unravelled colleague care programs we are excited and committed to your future development.

This role requires travel that is fully reimbursed and a full driving licence.

Job Description

Your key responsibilities as the Relief Chef will consist of:

Proactively manage catering teams
Recruiting, training, supporting and people development to deliver an efficient, high-quality service to Elior UK, customer and client
Ensuring ongoing team communications, including building internal and external relationships, management reporting and client liaison to enable operational excellence
Maintaining, ordering and controlling food stocks within budget
Creating a platform for financial growth through cost control and culinary excellence
Accountable for COSHH, Food Safety, H&S, legal regulations, environmental policies and duty of care to customers and colleagues

Working Pattern: Pro rota for 5/7 days a week, Includes some weekends

Skills and Experience

The experience and knowledge we are looking for from the future Relief Chef include:

Proven experience of successfully managing a team
Genuine interest in customer service excellence
Proven leadership ability
Proactive and ‘hands on' approach
Catering experience essential with chef skills
Contract catering is desirable
