Job description

ASE Recruitment are specialist recruiters in the social housing and social care sectors providing temporary staffing to work within a variety of 24 hour supported accommodation services and floating support services for Housing Associations and Charities across the Northwest, Midlands, and Derbyshire.

We are currently recruiting Concierge to work with a leading housing association, supporting Adults clients experiencing homelessness, mental health, and substance misuse within supported accommodation.

The main purpose of this role is to provide a welcome reception and support service to residents, and support tasks to ensure the smooth running of the service and activities on site.

Starting salary: £12.00 per hour

Shifts: Nights and Weekends.

About The Role:

  • To ensure our premises are safe and secure.
  • We provide support to people with multiple and complex needs as part of a service for those who have lost their home or been rough sleeping.
  • As a Concierge, you will be responsible for taking care of our facilities including health and security of the centre, reviewing CCTV, ensuring the tenants/residents/service users are safe in the environment, some cleaning duties, and delivering breakfast.

About You:

  • An awareness of issues relating to vulnerable individuals and those that have faced multiple disadvantages.
  • Previous experience of working with and/or providing concierge, security, or front of house services to vulnerable people.
  • An organised person who can multitask.
  • A working knowledge of Health and Safety in the workplace, COSHH.

Additional Requirements:
Candidates should have a current, enhanced DBS certificate. If you do not hold a valid DBS Certificate, you must be willing to apply for one.
