We have a number of opportunities for regulatory lawyers in Manchester at all levels from NQ upwards. If you have HSE regulatory, motor crime or general crime experience, please do feel free to get in touch. We are also interested in speaking to Barristers with 2 years call or more.

• Previous experience: If you have previous experience in HSE Regulatory, motor crime or general crime, we would like to hear from you.

Mix of HSE Regulatory and motor crime opportunities

We are keen to speak to candidates with experience in any of the following areas:

• HSE Regulatory; or
• Other areas of regulatory, social care or business crime.

This area of practice is set to see rapid growth in 2025, with law firms eager to capitalise on the growing need for advice in often very sensitive cases. We are looking to attract solicitors with a real passion for regulatory work and who are looking to build their career in an exciting and often challenging area of law.

Candidates wanted with any of the following experience

• HSE Regulatory work – defending everything from environmental and food safety breaches to corporate manslaughter cases. One of our law firm clients is dealing with one of the biggest corporate manslaughter cases in the last ten years with major implications for the client company as well as the wider sector.
• Motor crime – defending private motor crime cases including death caused by dangerous driving, driving under the influence, driving without enough.
• Social care regulatory work – This specialism relates to regulatory breaches arising out of nursing and social care including care homes. The law firm client recruiting in this area is keen to expand the team which already has a fantastic reputation.

Solicitors, Barristers and legal executives welcome to apply

We welcome applications from qualified solicitors and legal executives as well as Barristers. While previous regulatory experience is advantageous, we also encourage candidates from diverse legal backgrounds to apply.
