Job DescriptionResponsibilitiesThe Regulatory Compliance Manager will provide support for all aspects of the Group's Regulatory Compliance strategy and arrangements encompassing cultural, physical and technology elements throughout the business.
The role holder will work closely with the Group Head of Compliance (GHC) and be part of a small team within the GRC function dedicated to the development and ongoing maintenance of the Group's Regulatory Compliance objectives, reflecting the importance that the Group places on compliance and risk management, and in light of the Group's continued expansion.
The role holder will be responsible for supporting the GHC in ensuring that robust compliance and risk management measures are in place at a Group level and being complied with across IQ-EQ Group, providing oversight and challenge across the Group to ensure that known regulatory compliance risks and issues are being managed appropriately, escalating to the GHC when this is not the case and helping to ensure that employees are aware of the Group's regulatory compliance obligations.
The role holder will also work closely and collaboratively with key stakeholders across the three lines of defence, including local cluster Compliance Officers, to drive best practice in all matters related to regulatory compliance. This person will, from time to time, also coordinate membership, attendance, and information for various GRC forums and committees, including the production of management information relevant for oversight and governance purposes.
Tasks- Undertake annual reviews of the Group's Regulatory Compliance Policies, ensuring that they continue to reflect key regulatory requirements and industry best practices;
- Develop and maintain a core set of Group Regulatory Compliance procedures and template forms to help embed and ensure consistent application of the Group's Regulatory Compliance Policies;
- Act as key point of contact and support for local / cluster Compliance Officers and the commercial business development teams in the Group, providing advice and support, as required, on matters of regulatory compliance;
- Provide guidance to local / cluster business and compliance personnel on the application and interpretation of Group Regulatory Compliance Policies, flagging any concerns to the GHC;
- Undertake regular regulatory compliance focused horizon scanning to assess the impact of emerging regulatory change on the Group's Regulatory Compliance and Risk Management Framework, presenting results and proposed approach addressing emerging risks to the GHC;

- Conduct periodic regulatory assurance and compliance monitoring reviews and draft reports on the status of local / cluster regulatory compliance frameworks;
- Support the GHC in delivering on the Group regulatory compliance training, ensuring training modules updated/in place as required to meet roll out deadlines;

QualificationsRequired ExperienceEducation / professional qualifications
- Experience of working with risk management and regulatory compliance concepts;
- Relevant certification or willingness to work towards (e.g. CISI Level 2 or Level 3 qualifications in Compliance).
Background experience
- Experience of working in a similar capacity in a complex environment;
- Experience in production of Management Information;
- Experience of remote working within a dispersed team.
Technical
- Understanding of key financial services regulatory concepts in areas such as prudential regulation, conduct regulation, product regulation and consumer protection;
- Understanding of project management processes
- Understanding of commercial tendering and contracting processes;
- Experience of managing and developing policy and training content
Computer / program knowledge
- Expertise in standard Microsoft Office products;
- Experience of compliance and risk management tools
- Experience in content-management tools.
