An established industry player is seeking a Regulatory Compliance Specialist to ensure adherence to European regulations within their Trading, Shipping, and Operations divisions. In this role you will be responsible for ensuring all European regulatory compliance requirements within our Trading, Shipping, and Operations functions are met, specially for seaborne products including LNG, Oil & Oil products, Carbon, Ammonia, and other New Energy products. You will act as focal point for all European regulators and will ensure all regulatory compliance activities are well understood and completed in a timely manner. The primary focus will be on EU regulatory obligations but will interact and co-ordinate with business units globally. The role is based in London and will report into Governance and Risk manager WETS.
On a day-to-day basis you will be responsible for European Regulatory compliance activities, ensuring all reporting requirements are documented and actioned in a timely manner, any system integration and improvement are managed, ad-hoc or emergent Regulatory compliance initiatives are captured. This role is the focal point for the Trading, Shipping, and Operations Division, so you will support team members with risk and compliance queries and actions. The position is also responsible for streamlining the Trading, Shipping, and Operations systems and processes regarding regulatory compliance activities.
