An exciting new role has opened within the Regulatory and Control Team as a Regulatory Change & Control Associate.

Utilising your regulatory knowledge and previous experience within Corporate and Investment banking you'll identify and articulate complex issues to a diverse group of stakeholders, propose mitigates/solutions and escalate appropriately.

The difference you'll make:

  • Overseeing regulatory controls executed on our behalf including regulatory metrics: KPIs and KRIs; and Regulatory Global Standards
  • Implementing enhancements to existing controls
  • Assisting with the maintenance of control frameworks and annual QA reviews, ensuring testing results are appropriately documented and communicated
  • Supporting the Head of Regulatory Change & Control team and SLB Head of RAC to raise material issues risks to the relevant committees
  • Ensuring the control frameworks monitor critical issues / themes to maintain a good level of compliance
  • Assisting with the assessment and implementation of regulatory change, ensuring the compliance with the regulatory milestones in due time and form

What you'll bring:

These are the essential requirements you need to be successful in this role:

  • Experience of at least one of the following core regulations: MiFID, EMIR, Margin, DF, SFTR, SMMD/MMSR and/or FATCA/CRS
  • Educated to Degree level in a relevant subject (such as Law, Finance and STEM) or equivalent thereof
  • Previous Experience within Corporate and Investment banking environment

It would also be nice for you to have:

  • Front Office, Middle Office, Compliance 2nd Line of Defence, Internal Audit, Consultancy/Internal Change team background
  • Experience of data analysis tools such as Excel and Power BI
  • Experience in drafting presentations and dashboard metrics
  • Translate, manipulate and analyse data to perform root cause, trends and undertake impact analysis

What else you need to know:

This role is based at our offices in Triton Square, London located within easy walking distance from Warren Street and Euston.

To support this, we offer site-based contracts with a hybrid working pattern and our expected level of attendance in an office is at least 3 days a week (pro-rata for part-time roles).
