Regulatory Officer

£35,000 + great benefits

Surrey – hybrid working

Are you an ambitious Regulatory professional with 2-3 years of experience within the cosmetics industry? Looking to work for a company that has a clear progression plan in place for you to climb the ladder?

Blush & Bloom are exclusively partnered with a reputable, highly successful company in the beauty industry who, due to recent growth, are recruiting a brand new position to support this growth!

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide regulatory support for cosmetics and personal care products to ensure regulatory compliance in the EU, UK, and globally.
  • Regularly report on project status and manage client-related tasks.
  • Collaborate with admin and delivery teams to prepare and review data.
  • Review and manage product claims, labels, and artwork.
  • Create and submit Product Information Files and Product Notifications.
  • Identify and report new business opportunities.
  • Maintain strong customer service and communication with key accounts.
  • Oversee projects, ensuring timely progress and resolving any delays or issues.
  • Keep project trackers updated with accurate information.
  • Follow up with manufacturers and suppliers for missing data to keep projects on track.
  • Attend client meetings and travel if necessary.

Key Requirements:

  • A good understanding of cosmetic regulations, ideally 2-3 years’ experience.
  • A scientific degree in a related field e.g. Cosmetic Science, Chemistry etc.
  • A confident and motivated individual, with good communication skills.
  • Ability to use MS Office programmes.
