Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) - CAMHS
Salary - GBP36,000 - GBP40,300 per annum
Location - Blackburn
Hours - Permanent - Full Time or Part Time hours available
Shift Pattern - Days only, Nights only or mixed shifts available

Summary
Appoint Healthcare are proud to partner with an extremely reputable leading national provider of health and social care services for young people and adults with mental health needs. Together we are seeking an experienced Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) or an experienced Registered Learning Disabilities Nurse (RNLD) for a 10 bed CAMHS service that specialises in supporting children aged with severe mental health problems, located in Blackburn, close to Preston. Children in this service will be presenting with extreme risks that can include suicidal thoughts or actions, self-harming, fire-setting, and various other offending behaviours.

As a qualified Mental Health Nurse (RMN) or a Registered Learning Disabilities Nurse (RNLD), you will ensure children in this service receive high-quality care, while also supporting your colleagues and promoting positive teamwork.

Requirements

  • A relevant nursing qualification (RMN) or (RNLD)
  • A valid NMC registration with no restrictions or referrals
  • Eligibility to live and work in the UK
  • A minimum of 6 months CAMHS/mental health experience as a nurse, in the UK
  • Strong team-working skills
  • A high level of self-motivation and a flexible approach
  • A positive attitude and be naturally caring and compassionate
  • A commitment to high-quality care and to values and evidence-based practice
