Eden Brown Synergy has an exciting opportunity for a Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) in Manchester.
The Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) would be able to consider permanent, full time/part time and nights (37.5 hours p/w) within an inpatient mental health services setting for young people and adults. The current opportunities for Registered Mental Health (RMN) exist in various wards (CAMHS, PICU, Specialist DBT Unit for personality disorders).
As a Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN), you would be working alongside an experienced multidisciplinary team to provide excellent bespoke care to enable our patients to fulfill their recovery goals, working towards building a bright future after discharge for all service users within your care.
The Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) would assist in delivering a service to help people live their best life in a safe and supportive environment.
Responsibilities:
- Providing and supporting nursing care to the ward and acting as a named nurse for a defined group of patients.
- Assessing, planning and delivering, with the patient and their carer/family, nursing care which takes account of patient needs, choices and wishes.
- Accurately communicating with, observing and engaging with Service Users in order to assess need and evaluate progress.
- Promotion of and adherence to the DBT model.
- Understanding and participating in relevant quality improvement processes and clinical governance.
- Providing accurate information about care in an accessible format to Service Users and their families.
- Acting as the Nurse in charge of the Ward, ensuring a safe environment.
- Maintaining good clinical records and team communication.
- Supporting and contributing to MDT practice.
- Adhering to codes of practice and national guidelines.
Requirements:
- A relevant qualification is required: Registered Nurse | Registered Mental Health Nurse with a valid NMC Pin.
- Knowledge of NMC standards, guidelines, requests and professional practices.
- Demonstrates a positive attitude and commitment to service improvement and quality.
- Ability to develop and use flexible and innovative approaches to practice.
- Excellent verbal, interpersonal and written communication skills, IT literate.
